Chosen on grounds of an economic one night stay and then pleasantly pleased with the outcome. Sometimes you expect nothing but polite and friendly staff, a generous breakfast and no surprises upon checkout were bonuses often not enjoyed.

The room we were in, 109... Should be avoided. The decor is dated, the bathroom has been taken from Sarajevo.... And was poorly maintained. The windows were barred over, but I assume this is because the window could not close or lock for that matter. The plug sockets did not work... And the beds were the worst I had ever slept in... I put a pillow in the dip... Nay hole that was in the centre for extra spinal support...

Great value hotel friendly staff, and right on 24 hour bus route for only 3 quid a day, 10 mins from city center. Will defiantly be using this hotel for nights out in the future.

It is a budget hotel, if u want 4 stars go to the Hilton and mortgage your house.

I liked the fact that there was a pub near by with a pool table and table football. This was the only good thing about my stay in the Lansdowne Hotel. The best bit about it was when I was leaving.

I didn't like the fact that there was a health and saftey hazard in the room, where the window had been cracked and you tried to cover up the crack with a fire saftey sign. I also didn't like pretty much anything about the hotel as it was like going back in time. There was nothing modern about it at all.

The spring bed was very worn out and uncomfortable . The rooms were dreary and needed some renovating . About 4 miles from city centre but good bus services with stop outside hotel

First time staying here chosen for close proxiamatety for son's uni.Hotel okay for one night stay.

It didn't live up to photos on website.

there was too much noise during night ,especially saterday night.

The room was basic but served my purpose for a one night stay would not book if I was staying more nighrs.

The Parking was poor, but managed to park down a side street not to far away.

I liked the fact that the bus stop was just outside the hotel

Old grubby poor toilet/shower. Room smelt like cleaner had used full can airfreshner would not return

Shower doesn't work and there was no hot water. Price is too high for this standard. It is really old hotel. We couldn't switch on TV.

Ideal for a stayover. Had a concert and I wanted to was to go to sleep after a long day. Brilliant stay
